Bar coding and labeling

We use in-house equipment to label individual parts with serial numbers and to bar code bulk packages. Our equipment allows us to use codes such as Code 11, EAN-13, EAN-8, Plessey, MSI, UPC-A, UPC-E and many others.

ISO 9001:2008

We are committed to achieving excellence in all aspects of our business activities with the aim of ensuring total customer satisfaction. To that end, we first achieved ISO certification in 2000 and have completed three re-certification audits since then. We are currently ISO 9001:2008-certified.

UL certifications

Meridian Cable is currently certified by UL to produce the following single conductor wires: 1007, 1015, 1032, 1061, 1095, 1185, 1533, 1569 and 1571. Meridian is certified by UL to product the following multi-conductor cables: 2095, 2096, 2405, 2464, 2468, 2560, 2562, 2661, 2689, 2725, 2733, 2789, 2833, 2835, 2851, 2919, 2990, 2991, 2992, 20080 and 20276. Meridian Cable will continue to add UL wire and cable certifications.

FDA and Cage Code

Our facilities are registered with the FDA and DOC to ensure we are able to produce and ship parts for the medical and military industries.

Our services include all areas of shipping support, KanBan, JIT, and working with materials personnel to ensure blanket order are maintained to keep our customer’s inventory levels low and lean without compromising uptime.

Off Shore, In Spec and On Time

Our wire and cable customers know that we have incredible turnaround times (we once delivered 25 custom pieces from China in 7 days!) and that we deliver as promised. Our offshore manufacturing facility means good prices, but doesn’t mean slow delivery.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that having wire and cable manufactured in China requires long lead times, large quantities, produces questionable quality, and/or doesn’t provide design/patent protection. The truth is that our turnaround and delivery times are so impressive that we proudly publish the fact that our deliveries are 98% on time and 99.7 error-free. Many of the world’s leading electronics are now made in China — including your i-Phone and maybe even your computer ¬ which has given “made in China” a whole new meaning.
