Cables for Ultra-Slow Motion Cameras

I’m sure that many of you will be watching the Super Bowl this weekend. While you are watching the game and are enjoying the great replays, think of Meridian Cable. Meridian Cable supplies the cables for the cameras that provide the high-definition, ultra-slow motion replays for CBS Sports’ live broadcast and NFL Films’ coverage of Super Bowl XLIV.

CBS will be using nine of our customer’s cameras and each camera can record full HD at 2,700 fps, or frames per second. That is a LOT of data and requires a very unique and precise cable.

Meridian’s customer needed a cable every bit as special as their cameras. Our engineers worked with the customer’s engineers to design a custom cable that delivers the data rates required.

So this weekend if you see a great, ultra-slow motion replay, you can know Meridian’s cables are moving the data.
